Very little is known about Ronald's life before or as the outbreak began, except that he came from Chicago.
Crossing the Line (Volume 2)
Ronald is first seen by the survivors during their second day at the mansion. He was previously mentioned by Gavin, his nurse -- but was only officially met later on during dinner by Katelyn Robinson and Ty where he stated that the Washington Dam soldiers were most likely not going to make it, even with the antibiotics that were previously donated. Katelyn near immediately offered her blood over, explaining that she had previously been tested on at the Washington Dam Quarantine by Dean Adamson only to be told no, angering her.
Ronald went on to explain that it is incredibly unlikely that any blood transfusions would relieve the symptoms that the soldiers were suffering from, telling her that it is a hopeless up-hill situation and that the chances of her miraculously being the cure to the disease was next to none, though he did offer to check her blood on the side, if she really desired the test. Later that night, he was seen treating Miguel, Bill and Tommy.
